Lizardstar's Death

Rosekit looked around the camp her red eyes wide with Excitement because to Today she would become a ThunderClan apprentice! Rosekit ran forward when a paw hit her tail and she fell."Hey!"She moewed and turned to see Darkpaw."You'll never be a good Apprentice,You wont ever fit in or anything"He sneered."Get off of my you Snake-Heart"She hissed at the grey tom."Let go of her"A familiar voice growled.Hollyfall!Rosekit saw Darkpaw lift his light grey paw off her tail and walk off his tail high in the air.Hollyfall's pelt was very dark grey in the sunlight."Your lucky im here to save your pelt."He growled playfully.He rubbed his paw on her little head and nessed up her mane."Hey!"She meowed and jumped playfully on him."Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey join under the Highrock for a clan meeting!"Lizardstar yowled.Rosekit saw every cat gather under the Rock.Lizardstar looked at Rosekit her green eyes shining."Rosekit do you promise to learn and uphold the ways of a medicine cat and heal your clan?"Lizardstar asked."I do."Rosekit moewed.Lizardstar nodded."Then by the powers of StarClan until you have earned your full medicine cat name you will be known as Rosepaw."Lizardstar moewed.Rosepaw stood in the clearing her eyes shining as everyone called out her name.

later that night Rosepaw yawned and curled up in her nest when she heard coughing.She lifted her head to see Hollyfall coughing roughly.She got of her rest and ran to her friend."Are you ok?"She asked checking his breathing."Yes I---Just need some Juniper berries."Hollyfall moewed between coughs."Ill get some!"Rosepaw moewed and ran to were the herbs were stored and found the berries.She picked up the purple berries nad some Poppy seeds and ran back to her friend.Hollyfall was now laying on the ground.Rosepaw opened his jaw and put the berries in his mouth and helped him.Then she gave him the poppy seeds.She went back to her nest and kept an eye on Hollyfall.Until Sleep finally took over

Rosepaw woke up and padded to Hollyfall."Hey get up you Lazy lump!"Rosepaw moewed cheerfully.He didn't move."Hollyfall?"Rosepaw moewed more worried.She prodded him and he still didn't move."Hollyfall?"She moewed her eyes filled with tears.She pressed her nose into his cold fur knowing he was dead.She felt a tail on her shoulder and turned to see Lizardstar."He was at his old age he kept going for you Rosepaw."Lizardstar moewed."Hes my best friend though we were supposed to life together forever.."Rosepaw moewed sadly and tears fell onto his fur."We all join StarClan some day and it was his time."Lizardstar told her.Rosepaw dug her head into Lizardstar's fur and looked at her Dead friend her eyes still full of tears.

Rosepaw helped Lizardstar carry Hollyfall to the clearing were they layed him down."A dead cat already?"Tuffpaw moewed and walked over.Lizardstar nodded.Roseclaw layed down next to Hollyfall and sighed."I never thought you leave me so early.."She moewed.she heard someone padding to her nad saw Darkpaw."Just wanted to tell you,you My Mother said you don't have to do any medicine cat Apprentice work because of your lost."He moewed."Oh and here"He moewed pushing a mouse to her.She nodded to him and took tiny bites of the mouse as she layed next to Hollyfall.

Rosepaw woke up next to Hollyfall's body when the Elder's Greyfur and Superfur came out and took his body out of camp to be buried.Rosepaw got up and followed them wanted to say one last Good-By to him.She saw that Lizardstar and Tuffpaw were sitting next to were Hollyfall was being Buried.Lizardstar looked at Rosepaw"Would you like to speak first?"She asked.Rosepaw sat and nodded."He was a good and loyal tom he was always their when I needed him and he treated me like iwas his little sister I didn't mind though."Rosepaw mewed with a purr.

Rosepaw has been training for five almost six moons now.She always kept a Greenleaf in her mane to remember Hollyfall.She heard a screech coming from Lizardstar's den.She ran to her leaders den as fast as she could.She saw a very bad wound on her neck."Hold on Lizardstar ill get some-"Rosepaw was cut off."I need no Herbs young one its my time to time to die.."Lizardstar moewed.Her eyes grew duller."You cant leave yet I cant lose anothercat!"Rosepaw moewed sadness sparkled in her red eyes."A Roses thorn will Rise to save the clans.."Lizardstar moewed."Wait what dose that mean!"Rosepaw moewed."I say this before the name of StarClan.."Lizardstar mewed gasping for Breath."To Rosepaw as a medicine cat and warrior and her name will be Roseclaw.."Lizardstar said before her breath stopped.'No!!"Roseclaw moewed with worry.I have two friends Dead but I will save the clans no matter wehat and they will always live in my heart for as long as I live.....
